CL&P is proposing to build a new 115-kilovolt (kV) - 13.8-kV bulk power substation in Westport, Connecticut. This substation will replace temporary equipment with a permanent solution, supply the growing load in the town of Westport, and strengthen the reliability of the local electrical supply in the area.
