The total length of the right-of-way in Agawam is about 1.8 miles long. The first part of the right-of-way extends from the Agawam substation east to the Westfield River. This length is 0.4 miles long. The second part of the right-of-way starts as the Westfield River and extends across farmland and re-crosses the river onto the Bondi’s Island Landfill and terminates at the West Springfield Substation.

The existing steel lattice towers were removed and replaced with two steel monopoles with typical heights of 110 feet.
