The total length of the right-of-way in West Springfield is about 0.7 miles long. The right-of-way extends from the Westfield River, crosses Route 147, and travels along the western edge of the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds before crossing the Westfield River again into the Town of Agawam.

The existing steel lattice towers were removed and replaced with two steel monopoles with typical heights of 110 feet.
